I had recently posted again on the blog ([link]), this time - photographic contributions from my brother.

I admit I did not know much about the commercial rail viaduct, known as the 'High Line'. I spent several hours researching and rather enjoyed myself.

What I appreciate about abandonments such as this is the history and story. The structure in my imagination is something akin to a battery which stored memories. As the years march forward, the memories 'stored' within is gradually leaked out and is lost against the weather of natural decay.
